World Champions

The Academy Drum and Bugle Corp from the great state of Arizona gave a winning performance that earned them the title of "World Champions" in Madison Wisconsin this week. The corp faced stiff competition as they traveled the South and Midwest the past two weeks. It all came together
in the Madison finals where they eked out a tenth point win to bring home the trophy.

The true test of a champion lays ahead as Ann and her teammates face a 36 hour straight through bus ride from Madison to Tempe. If she's still smiling when the bus rolls up on a hot August Arizona evening, then I'll call her champ.
